The summer solstice is smack dab in the middle of this week, leaving us with some excess energy due to those long and delicious summer days. I’ll be gracing you with a special post about the solstice with an accompanying Tarot spread, for those who want to dive a little deeper. As for now, let’s take a look at what we can work through this week.
From left to right:
JUDGEMENT REVERSED – GENERAL ATMOSPHERE OF THE WEEK:
Judgement is such a difficult card to read, mostly because it’s just so…all encompassing. Ruled by Pluto, Judgement is a card where we are digging around our unconscious for remnants of the past and tracing them to our present behaviours. Reversed suggests that this mental load is taking a toll. You’re thinking rather holistically about your life decisions this week, but not necessarily in a productive way. Constantly mulling over the entirety of our decisions is a heavy burden to bear. One wrong move doesn’t always mean we’ll lose everything. For example, saying something stupid to your new crush doesn’t mean you’ll die sexless and alone. Stop the spiral!
ACE OF RODS REVERSED – POTENTIAL CHALLENGES:
If an Ace is always pure potential, then reversed is potential that can never be actualized. What decisions are you unable to make because of past experiences and preconceptions? Are you constantly ruminating over your faults and mistakes to the point where you don’t trust yourself to act?
JUSTICE – HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR TIME:
The Justice card is ruled by Libra, the cardinal sign of air – the initiation of communication. What uncomfortable conversations do you need to start this week in order to overcome your hangups and move to a place of action? For example, perhaps you just need a little confirmation that a past slip of the tongue isn’t going to cost you your job.
THE FULLY WOVEN STORY:
Let go of that overwhelming, rest-of-my-life drama you have concocted for yourself. You don’t always have to think about the impact of every choice on the future. Take it down a notch and focus on some key paths of communication you feel will balance the “wrongs” you have committed. Otherwise, you’ll never be able to shine brightly and act with confidence like that blazing Ace of Rods.
