Taken literally, the minor arcana are life’s minor “secrets” or “mysteries” (from the Latin arcana). These are encounters, responsibilities, relationships, ambitions, and ideas that we come across in our daily lives. There are four suits in the minor arcana. Each suit corresponds to an element and relates to an aspect of daily life or of our personalities and priorities. Check out my page on Learning the Major and Minor Arcana for more.
