THE WORLD – GENERAL ATMOSPHERE OF THE WEEK:

Ah, the World. There’s an oyster in here somewhere, ready to release a beauty of an iridescent pearl. Whether it’s a long-term project where you’ve taken the initiative on your own or a set path such as a promotion at your job, you finally feel like your pearl is ready to shine.

JUSTICE REVERSED – POTENTIAL CHALLENGES:

But there is something else you need to sort out, before you can say your efforts have truly culminated into their full radiance. As Justice is about cause and effect, the law of Karma, you may be feeling like your accomplishment is not getting the appreciation it deserves. A reversed card underlines a situation that you feel is particularly unjust. Will you actually get that job after graduation? Will your loved ones or roommates appreciate the extra effort you’ve put into renovate or keep the house nice for them?

SEVEN OF SWORDS – HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR TIME:

The Seven of Swords is also known as the thief card – it’s about using cunning in a situation to gain the advantage. It may be more of a soft power, where stealth and charm are more fruitful than brute force. This card gets a bad rap for portraying a self-serving individual. I often say it’s about an “innocent” manipulation of events and looking out for your own needs when no one else will. In unjust circumstances, this may mean looking under the surface for a more creative way to feel worthy of a job well done.

THE FULLY WOVEN STORY:

In order to truly feel you have become the skillful and wise powerhouse in the center of the World, you may need to market yourself in a way where your usefulness and insight is undeniable. Try a new approach to winning people over. It may not be an injustice that you feel underappreciated. More importantly, find a way to give gratitude to yourself. The thief in the Seven of Swords represents a resourcefulness that can only be gained from a person who truly values themselves in an often cold and indifferent world.
